We are being introduced to a wider variety of vegetables than ever before through restaurants, lifestyle shows, magazines and travel.
Through “The Potted Wok” we will now be able to grow and harvest our own vegetables at home and have the flavours of the Orient in our own kitchen.
Asian vegetables are fast and easy to grow. They are perfect for tub planting or garden beds and the avid gardener and cook will love having a greater variety to choose from. Their wonderful array of foliage and colour make Asian vegetables perfect for both feature and mass planting and they certainly suit the current trends of Japanese and tropical gardens.
This range of Asian Vegetables contains almost 30 different varieties. The vegetables are hardy yet attractive with a myriad of foliage varieties.
The stunning maroon leaf of the Giant Red Mustard is not only delicious but also perfect for mass or feature planting; especially contrasting with the glossy green Misome or Mibuna leaves.
Although the range features many varieties that are a little unusual such as the delicious baby leaf vegetables Yukina Savoy, Choho and Garland Chrysanthemum, there are also some that are similar to those that we see in the green grocers. Some, such as Oriental Cucumber, are delicacies within the Asian community and others such as Snow Peas and Patty Pan Squash are European additions to Asian cooking.
The “The Potted Wok” will appeal to anyone that enjoys Asian cuisine; those that love to grow vegetables and those looking for something different in their cooking.
